The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) recognizes the value of online learning in advancing its mission through high quality education to diverse learners.
The College also values the importance of building trust in both traditional and online learning settings. It is dedicated to providing an environment where stakeholders and associates feel safe, supported, and protected at all times.
Benilde’s online course offerings aim to meet the needs of learners who are physically unable to participate in traditional classroom learning but would still want to take advantage of other academic options.
The purpose of this guide is to allow students to impartially consider learning options that are available to them in their current respective contexts, and set expectations accordingly before deciding to enroll or not enroll in an online course offering at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
This guide is intended for Benildean students who are interested in continuing their coursework online.
What kind of support can I expect?
Your online instructor should be your go-to person if you will have concerns with your online class, resources, activities, or assignments. Contact your instructor through his/her declared contact information to discuss your concern right away or to set a synchronous meeting. If your concern warrants it, your instructor should be able to help you get in touch with your Academic Adviser, Program Chair, Associate Dean, or Dean.
There are different offices working together to provide you technical support.
For password and access concerns, send an email, attach an image of your Benilde ID card, and provide an alternative non-Benilde email address to help them resolve your concern faster.
For issues and concerns in the use of BigSky Benilde, send an email detailing your concerns. Attach screenshots for faster troubleshooting and resolution.
You may also send your message to the team through the Facebook page or Instagram account.
Thousands of scholarly resources may be downloaded for free through our Brother Fidelis Leddy Learning Resource Center’s online library portal in BigSky Benilde.
